Simply put, The Origins Education and Research Centre has over the years put together a number of papers, charts and displays on various aspects of controversial areas relating to science, history and religion. The issues are not straight forward in that they deal with explaining what has occurred in the PAST and so any explanations which can be offered are interpreted on the basis of what the observer believes in the first place.
The motto of the centre is, ”Education not Indoctrination” and seeks to provide a balanced comparative approach in its presentations on various topics.
From the educational experience of Trevor Holt, the originator of the Origins Education and Research Centre, he would have appreciated being told about the alternate ways of interpreting the past and not being indoctrinated in one view, (where there are different views), as was, and still is the case in educational institutions.
